MALL CALL 2026
Electronic dance music festival in an abandoned shopping mall in Sollentuna. Featuring Röyksopp, Overmono, Mount Kimbie, and The Radio Dept.
Mount Kimbie is a London-based electronic group formed in 2008 by Dominic Maker and Kai Campos, who later expanded to a quartet with Andrea Balency-Béarn and Marc Pell. Their 2010 debut Crooks & Lovers was a landmark of post-dubstep, and across four studio albums on Warp Records they have moved restlessly between future garage, indie rock and club music. The 2024 album The Sunset Violent marked a sharp turn into indie rock territory, while 2026 sees them return to the dancefloor with their fabric presents mix.
Mount Kimbie released their fabric presents mix on 31 July 2026, featuring two new original tracks - 'Monroe' and 'Jomox' - and marking a return to dancefloor-focused club music.
Ahead of the fabric presents release, Mount Kimbie dropped new singles 'Monroe' and 'Jomox', described as blending speed garage and techno.
Mount Kimbie released The Sunset Violent: Live in Heidelberg on 20 June 2025, a live document of their 2024 album.
Warp Records released The Sunset Violent Remixes EP on 27 March 2025, including a rework by Special Request.
Mount Kimbie released their fourth studio album The Sunset Violent on 5 April 2024 via Warp Records, recorded partly in Yucca Valley, California, and marking their first release as a full quartet.
