Noah Kahan (born January 1, 1997) is an American singer-songwriter from Strafford, Vermont, where he grew up on a family tree farm. His folk- and indie rock-inflected writing draws heavily on rural New England life, mental health, and a restless sense of home - themes that turned his 2022 album Stick Season into a global phenomenon. By 2026 he had released his fourth studio album, The Great Divide, and was selling out stadiums across North America and Europe.
Noah Kahan released his fourth studio album, The Great Divide, on April 24, 2026, produced with Gabe Simon and Aaron Dessner.
A Netflix documentary, Noah Kahan: Out of Body, directed by Nick Sweeney, premiered at the 2026 SXSW Film Festival and won the 24 Beats Per Second Audience Award before its April 13 streaming release.
Kahan announced The Great Divide Tour - a 57-show run spanning North America, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe - after debuting the title track's music video during a 2026 Grammy Awards commercial break.
Kahan married his longtime partner Brenna Nolan in a private ceremony in his hometown of Strafford, Vermont.
Town Hall (Stick Season Collaborations), a Record Store Day release collecting eight duets with artists including Post Malone, Sam Fender, and Brandi Carlile, appeared on the Billboard 200.
