Hartmann and Black Paisley take the stage at Debaser Nova. An evening with two bands.
Oliver Hartmann (born 28 June 1970 in Rüsselsheim, Germany) is a vocalist, guitarist, songwriter and producer who has been a fixture of the European melodic rock and metal scene since the late 1990s. He co-founded the power metal band At Vance before launching his own project, Hartmann, in 2005 - a band that has since released nine studio albums and toured alongside acts such as Toto, Uriah Heep and Edguy. For fifteen years he was also a touring guitarist and vocalist with Tobias Sammet's Avantasia, appearing on multiple albums and world tours between 2008 and 2023.
Hartmann announced a new lineup and confirmed three shows in Sweden in October 2026 - the band's first-ever performances there.
Hartmann released their ninth studio album 'Twenty Times Colder' via Pride & Joy Music on 19 September 2025, marking the band's 20th anniversary.
The band followed the album release with an eleven-date autumn tour across Germany and Switzerland.
Oliver Hartmann parted ways with Avantasia in October 2023 after 23 years, citing a desire to focus more on his own projects.
Hartmann also left the Pink Floyd tribute band Echoes in late 2023, after more than 21 years as its frontman.
