Olle Hellbom was a Swedish film director best known for his adaptations of Astrid Lindgren's stories. He directed Bröderna Lejonhjärta (1977) and the Emil i Lönneberga films, among others. His decades-long collaboration with Lindgren placed him at the heart of Swedish children's cinema.
