Özz Nûjen (born Loran Özz Ceko Nûjen, 20 June 1975 in Bismil, Turkey) is a Kurdish-Swedish stand-up comedian, actor, scriptwriter and TV host who moved to Sweden at age eight and grew up in Rinkeby outside Stockholm. Over a career of more than two decades he has become one of Sweden's most prominent political satirists, working across stand-up, film, theatre and radio - including hosting 'Morgonpasset i P3' and his own talk show 'Özz i P1' on Sveriges Radio.
'Medborgare Nûjen' won the award for Show of the Year at Svenska Standupgalan 2026, held at Lisebergsteatern in Gothenburg.
Additional tour dates were announced for 'Medborgare Nûjen', with the show confirmed to close before the 2026 Swedish election after completing 101 venues.
A final Stockholm date was added at Södra Teatern on 13 September 2026, among the last stops of the nationwide tour.
'Medborgare Nûjen' premiered at Hotel Rival in Stockholm on 25 September 2025, launching a tour planned for over 100 venues across Sweden.
In spring 2025, Nûjen also toured with the Riksteatern production 'Pueblo' before launching 'Medborgare Nûjen' in the autumn.
