About
Perkele is a Swedish oi! and street punk band from Gothenburg, formed in 1993 by vocalist and guitarist Ron Halinoja - whose Finnish roots inspired the band's name, a Finnish profanity. Starting out with punk influences drawn partly from Swedish folk music, the trio gradually shifted toward the British oi! tradition and has since released over a dozen albums while touring extensively across Europe and the US. Their sound blends raw street punk with melodic heavy metal riffs, and they are widely regarded as one of the most enduring acts in the European oi! scene.

Perkele released their 13th studio album, Theater, on 3 October 2025 via Spirit of the Streets Records.

The band launched a Record Release Tour in autumn 2025, playing cities including Wiesbaden, Dortmund, Hamburg and Berlin.

Perkele played hometown shows in Gothenburg and Malmö in December 2025 as part of the Theater release tour.
- 2026-04
Perkele continued touring in 2026, with a Theater Tour date confirmed in Stuttgart in April 2026.
