Pernilla Andersson (born 10 December 1974 in Stockholm) is a Swedish singer-songwriter, producer and composer who has been active in Swedish music for over 25 years. Rooted in folk and country-pop, she has released nine solo studio albums and earned multiple Grammis nominations as composer and artist. In 2000 she became one of Sweden's first female producers on a major label when she produced Svante Thuresson's album Nya kickar for Capitol Records, and in 2025 she made her feature-film scoring debut with the Swedish comedy-drama Regnmannen, directed by Hannes Holm.
The soundtrack album Regnmannen (Musiken från filmen), featuring Andersson's original score for the Swedish comedy-drama Let It Rain, was released on 25 December 2025.
Regnmannen, directed by Oscar-nominated Hannes Holm and starring Robert Gustafsson, had its nationwide Swedish cinema premiere on 25 December 2025, with Andersson as composer and on-screen performer.
Andersson made her feature-film scoring debut on Regnmannen, also appearing in the film with her band and singing two end-credit songs.
Andersson released the single 'Roses' in 2025, which also appears as the opening track on the Regnmannen soundtrack.
