About

Reverend Beat-Man is the stage name of Beat Zeller (born 1967, Bern), a Swiss musician, DJ and label boss who has been performing raw, lo-fi blues and garage rock since the early 1990s. He plays as a one-man band - guitar, kick drum, hi-hat and microphone all at once - and leads the psychobilly outfit The Monsters, one of Switzerland's longest-running punk bands. His self-described style, 'gospel blues trash', draws on primitive rock and roll, trash gospel and garage punk. He also founded and runs Voodoo Rhythm Records (est. 1992), a Bern-based label that has released records for over 30 acts worldwide.
