Sator

About

Sator is a Swedish punk and garage rock band from Borlänge, active since 1981 - first as Sator Codex, then under the shortened name from 1987 onward. Driven by guitarists and co-vocalists Chips Kiesbye and Kent Norberg, the band built a loyal following across Scandinavia with a raw, no-frills sound rooted in '70s punk and American garage rock. Kiesbye is also a sought-after producer whose credits include The Hellacopters, Sahara Hotnights and Millencolin.
