Sven-Ingvars is a Swedish dansband founded in 1956 in Slottsbron, Värmland, by Sven Svärd, Ingvar Karlsson and Sven-Erik Magnusson - widely regarded as the very first dansband in Sweden. With 55 entries on Svensktoppen and a Grammis for Dansband of the Year in 1990, the band became a fixture of Swedish popular culture across generations. They were inducted into the Swedish Music Hall of Fame in 2016, and today vocalist Oscar Magnusson - son of founding singer Sven-Erik - leads the group.
The 70th anniversary tour was extended for a third time after all home-city dates in Karlstad sold out immediately and most other spring shows approached capacity.
New autumn 2026 tour cities Skellefteå and Luleå were announced, along with extra shows in Vara, Göteborg, Stockholm and Växjö.
The live album Sliperiet Sessions was released on 7 November 2025 via Warner Music Sweden, featuring one of Sven-Erik Magnusson's last recordings from the band's 60th-anniversary session.
Sven-Ingvars appeared at Musikhjälpen in Karlstad and received a standing ovation from the crowd.
