About

Tareq Taylor (born 1969 in Malmö) is a Swedish chef, TV host and author of Palestinian-British heritage. He became a household name through years on SVT - most notably the cooking and gardening show Trädgårdsonsdag - and reached an international audience with Tareq Taylor's Nordic Cookery, broadcast in over 100 countries. He owns the Malmö restaurant Kockeriet, has published more than 15 cookbooks, and regularly gives lectures on food culture and entrepreneurship.
