Tennessee Tears is a Swedish country duo from Åseda, Småland, formed in 2014 by Tilda Feuk and Jonas Hermansson. Their sound grew out of a songwriting collaboration with Billy Burnette (Fleetwood Mac) in Nashville, and they have since recorded with session players from the circles of Johnny Cash and Emmylou Harris. Two appearances in Melodifestivalen - 'Now I Know' in 2023 and 'Yours' in 2025 - brought them to a national audience, and their debut album Ashes & Embers, recorded in Nashville and released in May 2026, marks their most ambitious work to date.
Tennessee Tears released their debut full-length album Ashes & Embers on May 29, 2026, on their own Tennessee Tears Records label.
The duo played four Swedish dates on The Ashes & Embers Tour, opening in Helsingborg on April 16 and closing in Stockholm on April 25.
Tennessee Tears kicked off 2026 with the single 'Promised Land', released January 16 as the first preview of Ashes & Embers.
The duo returned to Melodifestivalen 2025 with the single 'Yours', which charted at #42 on the Swedish singles chart.
An official music video for 'Yours', produced by Jimajomo Land AB, was released on March 11, 2025.
