Thanos Fotas is a Swedish stand-up comedian and actor, born in 1986 in Botkyrka with Greek roots, who has been performing since his debut at Bungy Comedy in 2009. He is known for sharp character-driven impressions spanning a wide range of Swedish and immigrant backgrounds, and gained wider public recognition in spring 2022 when a prank interview on SVT's Aktuellt - where he improvised the character 'zucchiniturken' - went viral. He is also a regular panelist on SVT's comedy show IFS - Invandrare för svenskar, and in June 2026 his first stand-up special, filmed live at Cirkus in Stockholm, was released on SVT Play.

Thanos Fotas is part of the A Standup Xmas 2026 Christmas tour alongside Petrina, Diyari, Gullis and Henrik Nyblom.
After two victory laps around Sweden in autumn 2024 and spring 2025, Fotas launched a concluding farewell run of his acclaimed solo show 'Standup Live', performing at Cirkus in Stockholm.
Following over 10,000 tickets sold in 2024, Fotas' tour was extended with 22 new shows across Sweden.
