The Australian Pink Floyd Show (TAPFS) is a Pink Floyd tribute act founded in Adelaide, Australia in 1988, widely regarded as the world's leading show of its kind. Having sold nearly five million tickets across more than 35 countries, the band is known for its note-for-note musicianship and a full production featuring lasers, giant inflatables, cinematic video animation and surround sound. Their reputation reached such heights that David Gilmour personally invited them to perform at his 50th birthday celebration, where both Gilmour and Rick Wright joined them on stage.
