The Black Dahlia Murder is an American melodic death metal band from Waterford, Michigan, active since 2001. Signed to Metal Blade Records, they have released ten studio albums - eight of which charted on the US Billboard 200 - and built a reputation as one of the most consistent acts in American extreme metal. After co-founder and vocalist Trevor Strnad died in May 2022, guitarist Brian Eschbach stepped into the vocal role and the band pressed on, releasing the tenth album Servitude in September 2024.
