Norwegian blues musician Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado take the stage in Malmö.
Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado is an eight-piece blues-rock band from Copenhagen, founded in 2003. Fronted by singer and guitarist Thorbjørn Risager, the band blends Chicago blues, Southern soul, boogie and rock 'n' roll into a sound that has earned them four Danish Music Awards, the European Blues Award for Best Band, and Germany's Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik. Over more than two decades they have released nine studio albums and played upwards of 1,500 shows across Europe, North America and Asia.
The live album 'Live at Hotel Cecil', recorded at a sold-out Copenhagen show on 29 November 2025, was released on 19 June 2026 via Provogue/Artone.
The band launched a major European tour in summer 2026 to support the new live album, covering Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands and Belgium.
The band released a live single, 'Said I Was Hurt', recorded at Hotel Cecil in Copenhagen on 29 November 2025, ahead of the full live album.
The studio album 'House of Sticks' was released on 31 January 2025 via Provogue/Mascot Label Group, followed by an extensive European release tour.
