The Graviators are a Swedish doom/stoner metal band formed in 2006 in Karlshamn, Blekinge, drawing on the heavy riff traditions of 1970s hard rock and occult themes. They released three studio albums - a self-titled debut (2009) on Transubstans Records, then Evil Deeds (2012) and Motherload (2014) on Napalm Records - before going on hold around 2016. Their sound sits between Pentagram-style doom and a grittier stoner rock edge, with recurring motifs of witchcraft and Norse mythology.
The Graviators went on hold after a decade of activity, with no new releases or tour dates announced since.
Third album Motherload was released on Napalm Records on 28 March 2014, recorded at Studio Berno in Malmö.
Evil Deeds was released worldwide on Napalm Records in August 2012 to positive reviews.
The band supported American doom legends Saint Vitus on their European tour across eight countries in December 2010.
