The Kid LAROI (born Charlton Howard, 17 August 2003, Sydney) is an Australian rapper, singer and songwriter of Indigenous heritage. He broke through globally with the Justin Bieber duet 'Stay' (2021), which spent seven non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is now RIAA Diamond-certified. His second studio album, Before I Forget (January 2026), debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 and marks a more personal chapter driven by emotional songwriting across pop, hip-hop and R&B.
