About

The Radio Dept. is a Swedish dream pop and shoegaze band from Lund, formed in 1995 by Johan Duncanson and Martin Larsson. Their 2003 debut Lesser Matters earned near-universal critical acclaim, and a wider international audience followed when Sofia Coppola placed three of their songs on the Marie Antoinette soundtrack in 2006. The band operates on their own terms - releases are rare and unhurried - but each one has deepened a loyal global following.
