About

Thrown is a Swedish nu metalcore band from Stockholm, formed in 2019 and signed to Arising Empire. The quartet - vocalist Marcus Lundqvist, guitarists Johan Liljeblad and Andreas Malm, and drummer/producer Buster Odeholm (Vildhjarta, Humanity's Last Breath) - broke through with their 2022 EP Extended Pain, which racked up over 50 million Spotify streams, and followed it with their debut album Excessive Guilt in August 2024, which debuted at #3 on the Swedish Hard Rock Albums Chart. Their sound blends metalcore and hardcore with hip-hop-influenced grooves, and they have toured relentlessly across North America, Europe and Australia.
