Tinie Tempah (born Patrick Chukwuemeka Okogwu, 7 November 1988, Plumstead, South London) is a British rapper and singer of Nigerian heritage who broke through in 2010 with back-to-back UK number-one singles 'Pass Out' and 'Written in the Stars'. His debut album Disc-Overy topped the UK charts, went double platinum and earned him two Brit Awards in 2011. Beyond music, he co-founded the entertainment company Disturbing London and sits on the board of the Ivor Novello Awards.
