TM404 is the hardware-focused alias of Swedish producer Andreas Tilliander (born 1977), built entirely around vintage Roland x0x machines - TB-303s, TR-606s, TR-707s and TR-808s recorded live in single takes. The project launched on Malmö-based Kontra-Musik in 2013 and has since grown from a private studio experiment into a fixture at clubs like Berghain and Tresor. Tilliander is also known under the names Mokira and Lowfour, and won a Swedish Grammy in 2005.
A limited-edition double vinyl repress of the debut TM404 album (2013) was released in September 2026 as part of Kontra-Musik's 20th anniversary celebrations.
TM404 performed live at Østre in Bergen on 30 May 2026, as part of a Kontra-Musik 20th anniversary event also featuring Ulf Eriksson.
