About

Tommy Nilsson (born 11 March 1960, Solna) is a Swedish singer, songwriter and actor whose career spans over four decades. He broke through in 1987 with the duet "Allt som jag känner" alongside Tone Norum, then won Melodifestivalen 1989 with "En dag" and represented Sweden at Eurovision in Lausanne, finishing fourth. Before going solo he sang in the hard rock bands Horizont and Easy Action, and he is also widely known in Sweden as the voice of the Beast in Beauty and the Beast and adult Simba in The Lion King.

    Tommy Nilsson is touring Sweden in summer 2026 to mark the 30th anniversary of his album "Så nära" and the hit single "Dina färger var blå".
