Tommy Nilsson (born 11 March 1960, Solna) is a Swedish singer, songwriter and actor whose career spans over four decades. He broke through in 1987 with the duet "Allt som jag känner" alongside Tone Norum, then won Melodifestivalen 1989 with "En dag" and represented Sweden at Eurovision in Lausanne, finishing fourth. Before going solo he sang in the hard rock bands Horizont and Easy Action, and he is also widely known in Sweden as the voice of the Beast in Beauty and the Beast and adult Simba in The Lion King.
Tommy Nilsson is touring Sweden in summer 2026 to mark the 30th anniversary of his album "Så nära" and the hit single "Dina färger var blå".
Nilsson completed a 14-city Swedish concert tour in spring 2025 named after his then-new album "Längs den långa vägen hem", running from 27 March to 13 April.
Nilsson released the album "Längs den långa vägen hem" on 18 October 2024.
The film "Syndabocken" (2023), in which Nilsson plays the character Pierre, was shortlisted as Sweden's Oscar candidate for Best International Film.
Nilsson made his film acting debut in the Swedish thriller "Syndabocken", directed by Axel Petersén, which premiered in Swedish cinemas on 24 November 2023.
