Uriah Heep are a British hard rock band formed in London in 1969, widely regarded as one of the founding acts of heavy metal and progressive rock alongside Deep Purple and Black Sabbath. Guitarist Mick Box is the sole original member still in the lineup, which has otherwise seen over twenty musicians pass through its ranks across a career now spanning more than 55 years. The band has released 25 studio albums and sold over 40 million records worldwide, with classics such as "Lady in Black", "Easy Livin'" and "Demons and Wizards" cementing their place in rock history.
