Finnish music group Vesterinen Yhtyeineen performs at Kulturens Hus in Luleå.
Vesterinen Yhtyeineen is a Finnish indie pop and rock band founded in 2006, fronted by singer-songwriter Tero Vesterinen - a grandson of accordion legend Viljo 'Vili' Vesterinen. The ten-piece ensemble, signed to Universal Music Finland, has grown from playing near-empty venues to selling out arenas across Finland, and is consistently ranked among the country's most popular live acts. Their sound weaves cinematic orchestration, northern melancholy and earthy storytelling into a style that resonates across generations.
The band's 20th anniversary grand concert, originally planned for Suvilahti, was moved to Train Factory's new venue in Vallila, Helsinki, on 28 August 2026.
The band released their ninth studio album 'Liian hiljaista' on 6 March 2026, celebrating their 20th anniversary as a band.
The 'Liian hiljaista' release tour took the band to 12 cities across Finland, starting in Tampere on 21 March 2026.
The autumn 2025 tour was a major success, with every concert selling out.
Author Antti Heikkinen published a full band biography titled 'Vesterinen Yhtyeineen' (Like, 2024), tracing the history of each member.
