Warhaus
Belgian artist Warhaus performs at Nalen Klubb in Stockholm.
Warhaus is the solo project of Belgian singer-songwriter Maarten Devoldere (b. Kortrijk, 1988), best known as frontman of the indie band Balthazar. Under the Warhaus name he crafts a darker, more cinematic sound - baritone vocals over jazz, chanson and nocturnal pop, drawing comparisons to Leonard Cohen and Serge Gainsbourg. Four albums between 2016 and 2024 have built a devoted following across Western and Northern Europe.
Warhaus announced his fifth studio album 'The Donkey', due January 15, 2027 via Play It Again Sam, alongside lead single 'Simple Pleasures'.
A full-band European tour in support of 'The Donkey' was announced, running from February to April 2027.
Devoldere performed a series of stripped-back concerts alongside classical pianist Julien Libeer, including a stop at Hamburg's Laeiszhalle.
Warhaus released the album 'Karaoke Moon', recorded over nine months with producer Jasper Maekelberg in a loft studio in Bruges.
