Yazoo is a British synthpop duo from Basildon, formed in 1981 by Vince Clarke and Alison Moyet. Their debut single "Only You" was a major hit, and the album "Upstairs at Eric's" became a defining record of early-80s pop. They split in 1983 and briefly reunited in 2008.
