Bergmanfestivalen, Dramaten's international theatre festival, presents guest performances throughout autumn 2026.

"There are monstrous things, but nothing is more monstrous than humanity."

The production unfolds simultaneously in the mythical heart of Thebes from Antigone and in Pará province in Brazil, where the Amazon rainforest is plundered and destroyed by industrial conglomerates. Filmed sequences and live performances interweave in this political production, where Brazilian and European actors perform alongside activists from the Brazilian Landless Workers' Movement (MST).
