Gothia Cup 2026

Gothia Cup is the world's largest international youth football tournament, held every summer in Göteborg and surrounding municipalities. Teams and players from around the globe meet here, and the tournament serves as a global gathering place where young people of all religions, skin colours, and nationalities unite through football.

During tournament week, the city welcomes approximately 35,000 participants and nearly as many companions. Gothia Cup is visible everywhere - on pitches, squares, and streets - and at the event areas Heden and Kviberg, partners organize activities, competitions, and entertainment throughout the week. Free admission applies to all matches during the week. However, a ticket is required for the opening ceremony at Ullevi on 13 July (gothiacup.se/gothia-opening-ceremony) and for the finals on 18 July at Gamla Ullevi (gothiacup.se/gothia-finals).
