With her new 2025 album, Slowgold has chosen to strip her expression down to the most essential - lyrics at the centre, dressed in simple yet ingenious arrangements. "I've come to realise that I've been very focused on simplifying and reducing in my life generally," explains Amanda Werne. "Stripping away to reveal clearer contrasts that are easier to relate to. You might see one side first, then suddenly become aware there's another, and maybe another still. But you're always trying to reach a clarity that comes with simplicity."

Isak Benjamin is a 21-year-old musician and songwriter who grew up in an artistic family - including with his sisters in First Aid Kit - and has spent much of his life in tour buses and music studios.
