Summer Concert - Jesper Lindell

Jesper Lindell and his band Brunnsvik Sounds recorded two albums in four days at two of the USA's most renowned studios - Royal Studios in Memphis and Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Alabama. The albums are titled Royal and 3614 Jackson Highway and are released by YepRoc Records.
The band, which has played together for five years and performed over 600 concerts across Europe, travelled to the studios where classics by Al Green, The Staple Singers, Elvis Presley, Otis Redding and The Rolling Stones were recorded. The result is a collection of interpretations of songs like The Letter, Drift Away, Respect Yourself and I Can't Stand the Rain, alongside lesser-known tracks by Otis Clay, Margie Joseph and Tony Joe White among others.
Guest artists on the albums include Phil Campbell (The Temperance Movement), Frazey Ford and Michaela Holmberg.
