Behind de clair. is singer-songwriter Clara Rudelius from Karlshamn. She picked up the guitar at age ten and was soon drawn to the black, untuned grand piano in the living room. Catalogs by Nico, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, and Björk shaped her as an artist and became central sources of inspiration when she began writing and producing her own music.

Her music moves within indie/alternative and folk - minimalist arrangements meet open, sometimes provocative lyrics about the world's injustices, friendship, memory, and love.

Her debut "hiding mountains in the palm of my hand" from 2024 was awarded the prize Newcomer of the Year and received acclaim in reviews worldwide. Throughout the year she toured, performing alongside Amanda Bergman, Augustine, waterbaby, and Ellen Krauss.
