The guiding light in Kullrusk's world is the master of electrified jazz, trumpeter and saxophonist Eddie Harris - and his spirit still watches over the four as they plug in and hit the on button.

The quartet consists of saxophonists Jonas Kullhammar and Per "Ruskträsk" Johansson alongside bassist Sven Lindvall and drummer Martin Jonsson. From day one they have held fast to their distinctive sound: electrified saxophones in close combat with a snappy acoustic accompaniment.

The music ignites in the moment - as much explosive funk as hard-swinging jazz, and everything in between.
