Trubbel med Polaren Pär - An Evening with Maria and Bengan

Maria Lundqvist and Bengan Jansson have shared the stage before, but always with others. Now they stand alone and tell their stories.

Maria Lundqvist is known from film, television, musicals and theatre - this year she celebrates 40 years as an artist. Bengan Jansson is one of Sweden's most versatile musicians, equally at home in jazz, visa and folk music.

"We have both longed for the chance to be together again. Maria is an actress with so much humour in her, layered beneath the seriousness. Her way of interpreting lyrics is completely unique. We will dive deep into our favourites", says Bengan Jansson.

"Being with Bengan is a privilege. Throughout my career I have always loved being with those who want to listen and are not afraid to express what they feel. Bengan is all of that. He tells stories with his accordion", says Maria Lundqvist.
