Outdoor Festival in Slottsskogen

From 11.00 onwards, Azaleadalen fills with activities for both adults and children - climbing, mountain biking and slackline, while outdoor brands showcase equipment and new products. Adventurer and lecturer Renata Chlumska is on hand to sign her book Towards New Horizons, about her expedition when she cycled and paddled around the entire USA.

At 13.00, The Outdoor Gear Flea Market opens - Sweden's largest flea market dedicated solely to outdoor equipment. Private individuals sell used outdoor gear directly from blankets on the grass. It is free to participate as a seller.

When darkness falls, an outdoor cinema is shown on the Nordic region's largest inflatable film screen. The programme consists of seven carefully selected favourite films from previous editions of the Banff Mountain Film Festival, featuring family adventures, skiing in deep powder, mountain biking in spectacular landscapes and personal stories from the mountain world.
