Badin - Beyond Surface and Mask

In spring 2026, Nationalmuseum opens a smaller exhibition about Adolf Ludvig Gustav Fredrik Albert Badin, also known as Couschi - a contemporary of Sergel. The exhibition is shown partly integrated with the parallel Sergel exhibition.

The aim is to provide a nuanced and multifaceted picture of how a person of African descent played a significant role in Swedish society during this period.
