The Land You Inherit: Monocultures, Landfills and Eutrophication

What does the environmental crisis look like here, in the landscape we move through every day? In "The Land You Inherit", photographer Martin Kull explores three planetary boundaries through images from his local area in Greater Stockholm. Attacked spruce forests, disrupted landscapes and over-fertilized waters meet photographs of his children and grandchildren in the environment. The works are presented in custom-made frames that deepen the relationship to the planetary boundaries. The question running through the works is simple yet hard to escape: What are we leaving behind?
