Confidencen Opera & Music Festival - La Liberazione

This summer, three of Sweden's leading baroque singers take over Confidencen, where in collaboration with Den Andra Operan they present Francesca Caccini's landmark work La liberazione di Ruggiero dall'isola d'Alcina (1625). Court soprano Ann Hallenberg performs the mighty Alcina, mezzo-soprano Kristina Hammarström her rival Melissa, and tenor Martin Vanberg the bewildered Ruggiero.
