City Walk: Women's Place in Vällingby - The Dream of the Modern City

In 1954, Vällingby opened as Sweden's first ABC-city - a society where work, housing, and services were meant to be close together. This city walk examines whose future that vision actually represented, focusing on women's place in the welfare state: the housewife ideal, childcare, and working life.
