WALTER BERGE & H. C. FELL - guest performance at Turteatern
Fri, 18 Sep 2026 · — Sat, 19 Sep
Walter Berge and H. C. Fell perform a two-act concert featuring shadow play and strings.
The programme moves through the intellectual world of the late nineteenth century - spiritualism, the presence of the spirit world in everyday life, and the aestheticization of a decaying society. Byron wrote of vampires, Baudelaire popularized the concept of decadence, and Oscar Wilde argued that art could say nothing other than that it was beautiful.
Berge and Fell wallow in the clichés of bygone eras and create music for subjectivity.
