About: Mike Oldfield

The British composer behind Tubular Bells - the 1973 album that launched Virgin Records and sold some 15 million copies worldwide after its theme appeared in The Exorcist. Oldfield's music spans prog rock, folk and ambient across 25 studio albums, and his Tubular Bells series continues to be performed live by a full band on European tours.
