The exhibition places colour at its centre and brings together the Gothenburg Colorists - Ivan Ivarson, Ragnar Sandberg, Inge Schiöler, Åke Göransson and Märta Taube-Ivarson - alongside both their predecessors and successors.

Iconic works are displayed side by side with pieces rarely shown before. The exhibition has been created in collaboration with the Gothenburg Museum of Art.

About the venue: Prins Eugens Waldemarsudde

Prins Eugens Waldemarsudde is a museum and art gallery on Djurgården in Stockholm, set in the villa where Prince Eugen lived from 1905 until his death in 1947. The prince was a painter himself and an avid collector of Nordic turn-of-the-century art. The museum displays his own works alongside paintings by Swedish and Norwegian contemporaries, and the sculpture-dotted park grounds are open to visitors as well.
