OSVENSK? A Tribute to Our Differences
Osvensk is a heartfelt tribute to human differences and the art of picking the raisins from all the world's cakes. The show moves between suburban family life, always being the whitest person in the room, anger management, being with a female Serbian general, raising small children after 50, imitations of famous Swedes - and much more.
Why must all Swedish children's parties last exactly two hours and serve princess cake? How loud can people from other cultures actually talk on their phones in public places, and how can Gen Z be so tired when all they do is drink energy drinks?
Mårten Cvetkovics' massive success was seen by over 40,000 people on tour and was later bought by SVT, where hundreds of thousands of viewers followed it. The show also won the award for "Performance of the Year" at Svenska Standupgalan 2024, competing against Henrik Schyffert, Måns Möller, and Petrina Solange. Now the long-awaited follow-up comes to Lisebergsteatern in Göteborg.
