A Tribute to Lana Del Rey with MOTO BOY
In autumn 2025 and spring 2026, MOTO BOY toured with "A Tribute to Lana Del Rey" - a stripped-down and passionate homage to one of our era's most compelling artists. Those who missed his sold-out shows in Lund now have the chance to see him again in November at Stadshallen.
Oskar Humlebo, better known as MOTO BOY, likes to believe that early in his career he inspired Elisabeth Grant to become her alter ego Lana Del Rey. Whether that's true remains to be seen, but that Lana Del Rey has profoundly influenced him is clear. "Since Elisabeth Fraser, she is the artist and singer who has touched me most deeply, and I have followed her career since 'Video Games' had a few thousand views on YouTube."
On stage, MOTO BOY performs a selection of Lana Del Rey's songs alongside Pikko (Petra Fors). MOTO BOY debuted in 2007 and has since released several albums, performed thousands of international concerts - both solo and as a member of The Cardigans - and appeared in opera productions, musicals, and theatre productions. He has also played guitar in The Ark, opened for artists including Whitney Houston, Smashing Pumpkins, and Suede, and performed as an intermission act in the Melodifestivalen final.
Last autumn he released the album "Drown Out the Noise", recorded between 2020-2023 and produced and released independently. His first records "Moto Boy" (2008) and "Lost in the call" (2010) were described as "a whole boys' choir in feather boa" (SvD) and "a great Swedish album" (DI Weekend).
