Awakening

Uppvaknandet is a monologue based on Josefine Frankner's life story, exploring the mechanisms behind controlled thinking. Such mechanisms are not confined to religious cults - they can emerge in any group: criminal gangs, abusive relationships, toxic workplaces, yoga groups, and beyond.

The performance examines freedom of speech, the right to say and think what you want, and the struggle to break free from others' control and rediscover yourself.
