CANCER DANCE

Nadja Hjorton brings her solo work CANCER DANCE to Volymen in Örebro on Wednesday, 28 October 2026. Volymen is a concert hall located in Kulturkvarteret, housed in Örebro's former main library from the early twentieth century. Kulturkvarteret hosts live concerts, lectures and other cultural events. Hjorton is touring this production across three Swedish dates in autumn and winter 2026, with additional performances in Norrköping and Varberg. Her personal narrative begins at a time when she simultaneously became a theatre director and received a breast cancer diagnosis at age forty - a performance that explores change, fear and the unexpected that exists in the midst of crisis.
