Valter Nilsson
Valter Nilsson made his Swedish-language debut with the album "Bland de gyllene och de allmänt brända" in spring 2025, rising within months from club gigs to selling out 12,000 tickets for a show at Bananpiren in Göteborg.
In March 2025, the Göteborg phenomenon released his second album, "Högsbo Riviera", where he and his longtime collaborator Johan Weber refine their soul rock'n'roll sound - now expanded with brass and strings. The album is filled with everyday stories and social pathos, featuring singles like the reality-based "Lukas, Dennis & farsan", which has already become a crowd-singing favourite.
The momentum has been relentless: triple concerts at Nefertiti in November sold out instantly (GP gave 5 out of 5 and wrote "Sell your children for a ticket"), Pustervik went just as fast, and a show at Fasching in Stockholm in November was sold out. Then it took just a couple of days to sell all 12,000 tickets to the Bananpiren gig.
