Sanna Sundqvist and David Book play the lead roles as Lars von Trier's film becomes a theatre production at Målarsalen.

A married couple struggles to process their grief after losing their young son. She suffers a complete breakdown, and he - a psychologist - decides to handle her therapy himself. They move to a cabin in the forest where she and their son spent the previous summer. But instead of confronting her demons, she descends deeper into darkness and violent sexual behaviour.

Sundqvist and Book have previously performed opposite each other in Ada Berger's three Liv Strömquist productions at Dramaten. Lars von Trier's film Antichrist premiered in 2009 with Charlotte Gainsbourg and Willem Dafoe in the lead roles and attracted significant attention - not least because of its explicit violent sexual scenes.
