Dramaten.Doc

Dramaten.Doc is a format where Dramaten provides a platform and voice to playwrights, writers, and theatre colleagues from conflict-affected regions - focusing on artistic commentary on contemporary issues and the ability to respond to current events without lengthy preparation.

"Theatre's traditional repertoire planning is often scheduled far into the future. Dramaten.Doc is an attempt to quickly respond to various events and conflict zones in our turbulent and rapidly changing world. To give voice to artists, writers, and theatre makers who are in the midst of these ongoing conflicts," says Mattias Andersson, theatre director and artistic leader of Dramaten.
