At Dramatenbaren you meet actors, directors, dramaturges and invited guests in conversations that deepen and shift perspectives. Sometimes they focus on the work behind a current production, sometimes on the questions the play raises - in society, in history, in ourselves.

These conversations extend the theatrical space: they offer new approaches to a production, lower the threshold for the curious, and broaden horizons for those who want to go further. There is room here for both process and polemic, craft and ideas.
